bass lines

i like songs with strong and complex bass lines. because most people don't listen or rate the bass line, it's like savouring a rare and niche but exquisite dark chocolate when you get one of those songs.

anyone listened to the soundtrack for Emperor: Battle for Dune before? good stuff, especially the Harkonnen tracks. cold, menacing, calculated and powerful.

exam's over. not too pretty, but i won't be retaking it. apparently my job doesn't qualify me for the charter anymore. hmmphh.

no, i don't update much nowadays. i'd rather talk to real live people, so talk to me instead.

i listened to the "Rent" musical soundtrack, and watched some of the youtube videos. watched it many years ago, so the memory of it had already faded. "Light My Candle" was a surprisingly... kinky. was also shocked to re-realise that "I'll Cover You" was so... rainbow. two of fave songs on the musical O.O ... at least "Seasons of Love" is somewhat normal.

but the theme of poverty, HIV, etc. is a good one. ah, to be set free like a bird again in the teeming jungle of New York City, uncaged.
