greetings from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia!
new year's with the family isn't that bad after all... there's a nice house to sleep in (very different from the broken down kampong house i'm used to) and the relatives are much more pleasant than expected (i.e. there are cute babies and no one has asked me ... yet ... why i don't have a girlfriend). back in Singapore on Friday, things are holding up!

Happy New Year to you too! When I called my mom today, I almost forgot it was Chinese New Year... bad, bad me. You have family in Malaysia? Your family is EVERYWHERE. Kind of nice, no?
